Meg was a vibrate part of the 3-D Band. Her life was cut short in a tragic accident. To honor her memory and her love of band, her parents yearly send several members of the 3-D band to band camp. While the Band Boosters pay the tuition to camp. The Flynn's help pay for the room and board, allowing several bandsmen who wouldn't otherwise be able to go to camp, make it there.
To Honor Meg the 3-D Band and Boosters commissioned a song dedicated to her. "My Spirit Lives On" or "Meg's Song"as we call it, has been played twice by the 3-D Band at UIL Concert Contest. It has been published and listed as a UIL concert piece.
