Welcome to the success class! I want students, parents, and myself to enjoy the school year.
We will learn many things,be successful on the TAKS Reading Test in March, and enjoy our journey this year.

Your character counts wherever you are and whatever you do! Be a good class member. Say only good things, refuse to listen to bad information, and don't participate in activities that you know aren't right. We will have a safe and enjoyable class if we all follow these rules!

Our reading class will take us on adventures outside of the classroom. We will travel to the far North in search of gold, England will be one stop on our agenda,and perhaps even a stop on an island in the Pacific Ocean. Wait and see where you travel to this year.

Along with our travels, we will strengthen our reading skills so we will be ready for our TAKS reading test in March. So get ready to read and learn.

Writing, vocabulary, parts of speech, correct sentences, and better spelling are only a few of the areas we will "jump" on to perfect our skills. We will be better English scholars at the end of this year and will have fun in the process!
